What we collect. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, your profile photo and your email address, and nothing else from your Google account. We use them to create your Watchwalla profile. We never post to Google on your behalf and we don't read your contacts.

What you give us. The films and series you mark as wanted, seen, loved or not for you, your ratings, your favourite actors and directors, lists you paste in, and your friendships. This is the whole point of the site; it's used to compute your match scores, your recommendations and your compatibility with other members.

What other members see. Your name, photo, handle, the line you write about your taste, what you love and how you rated things. Your email address is never shown to anyone. Members can look you up by the exact email you signed up with, which only tells them you're here.

Who else gets data. Nobody buys or receives your data. The site runs on Vercel and Supabase, which host it. Film information and images come from TMDB; your searches are sent to TMDB to be answered, without your identity attached.

Cookies. One session cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising, no tracking pixels.

Deleting your account. Email the address on your profile page from the account you signed up with and ask; everything you've added is removed. We'll add a one-tap button for this as the site grows.

Who runs this. Watchwalla is made by Screendoor Studio, a one-person studio in Birmingham, Alabama.

Film data and images from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
